Newbie: Font editing

New Here ,
Nov 28, 2024 Nov 28, 2024

Hi there! I'm using Adobe Express and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to manipulate my font. For example, I'm currently working on a design for a Christmas shirt and I wanted to do a similar layout of font that is popular on Etsy - the "retro/hippy/wavy" effect. When I click on my text box, the only options I see are the font, (bold, italic, etc.), and then I see default, text layout, text flow - under the text layouts, my only opions are dynamic, circle, arch, and bow - which none of them I have been able to wiggle it around how I want. I don't understand the text flow option either. I asked my AI support helper and it says there should be and effect option on the (right) panel. I'm not seeing this...

Anyone have any thoughts? I'm going crazy! I want to learn how to use this better for so many reasons, but I feel like I'm hitting a wall every time I think I'm ahead. I attatched a picture for reference of what I'm talking about. Thanks!

Hey @Mrs_Bonnee
I hope I am understanding your Qs correctly.
You may want to look at the different Adobe Fonts: Adobefonts.com

Nope, not going to happen in Adobe express.   Typically in Photoshop, and Photoshop elements it is a "distortion" found under the filter menu choice.
