Hi all. Trying to troubleshoot why my Adobe Express document suddenly will not download as a PDF with the correct format. Some of the font appears to be bolding itself, thereby changing the paragraph structure and causing overlap. It does not happen if I download as a png or jpeg. I've attached the correct version as a png and the incorrect version as a pdf. This document has downloaded as a pdf in the past with no issues. I just had to go in and correct some text at the bottom of the page (no where near where the issue is occurring at the top of the page), and now this. I've tried clearing cache. No dice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem for me. Finished a project and there are formatting errors all over the place when downloading. It just baffels me how adobe express is presented as this convenient and fast way of doing things and couldn't figure out how to export correctly. Many people have this problem and apparently adobe is working on it. I did not find a way around this problem yet.

Hi there,
We're sorry to hear about the issue. Could you please let us know the font you're using? And also if you've observed any other fonts having the same issue. Which operating system and browser are you using?
We're here to help, just need some info.
Regards,
Tarun

Similar problem here. PDF download alters the colors for me and there seems to be no way around it. JPEG and PNG works fine and looks great, I need the file as a PDF though. With a deadline coming up, this is extremely frustrating.
Color #00234E simply changes to #0C1622 , which is visibly darker. JPEG and PNG downloads correctly.

@Sören307722824r37, I was able to recreate the issue with the colors being exported incorrectly and will escalate with the engineering team to get it fixed.

@Sören307722824r37, the Express team released a fix for the color changes yesterday and a new export should have the expected colors this time. Sorry that we caused the issue for you.

Hi
@Marissa24397798eqcu,
We're sorry for the delay. Could you please let us know what happens when you download the PDF? Is it happening with all PDFs you download or with specific ones? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? If you can share the screenshot of the issue or the project URL with us, that will help us investigate further.
Regards,
Tarun

I'm having the same issue. This is the first time this has happened to me. All other files have downloaded normally

Same issue happening to me now, did they get it fixed for you?

This issue has been persistent for me in at least two of my projects where I download directly to pdf. Color/saturation changes occur that alter the original image.
Workaround (definitely NOT a fix), is to download pngs and create pdf from these files. This takes more time, resources and resulting pdf is not directly editable as it should be if the download to pdf feature worked correctly to begin with.

@Jarred314799862wqd, @Nphillips, based on your descriptions I think you are seeing a different issue than other posts in this thread. For the images that are changing when exporting to PDF, are they coming from Adobe Stock or are they from your own uploads/library? If from Adobe Stock, can you share a screenshot of the image info here (select the image in question, then click the "(i)" icon at the top of the Image panel)?
Do the images have any effects or adjustments applied?
If you are willing you can also share the documents with us and we can investigate more. Send me a private message for the email to share the documents with.

It's either the rectangle I placed in the background that is changing or this texture I put on there
I do have an effect on the texture.

@Nphillips , thanks for sharing that. I've been able to recreate the problem and will work with the team to make a fix for the issue. The combination of some Adobe Stock assets and the effects being applied is causing the image to be made with a black background instead of a transparent background.
This is very much a workaround and certainly more cumbersome than we want, but I'll offer it anyways in hopes that it unblocks you since I'm not certain when a fix will be released.
1. Create a new page in your project the same size as the original page you are wanting to export.
2. Set the new page's background color to transparent.
3. Copy that image and (with its effects) onto the new page and position it the same way.
4. Download the new page as a PNG
5. On the original page, place this new PNG and remove the original image
6. Download the original page as a PDF
