Thank you for your feedback, and I understand your concerns.
To access your old files, you can go to "Your Stuff", and there is a highlighted option that says, "Looking for files created with the prior version of Adobe Express or mobile app? We got you." Click on "Access files," you can find your old files there and move them to the new desktop version.

I understand that adapting to changes can take some time, but I believe you'll get more comfortable with the new layout over time.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask, as I'm here to help.

I have followed your directions but this is not working. We have thousands of documents missing. How do I recover them. All I can get to are some over the past 5 months.

@v15C3 Thanks for letting me know. 🙂
@evyg61406670 Would you mind sharing a bit more information on where those projects were saved? e.g. did you put those projects in separate folders?
Another option would also be to check in the Creative Cloud Library to see if the missing projects are available there and download them.
Please let me know how it goes.

Your solution does not work. There is no "Looking for files created..." box in My Stuff under Files. I really need to edit a project TODAY, and there is no way to get to it.

Hi there I don't have the icon that you mentioned about accessing previous files. How do I access to my previous files? It is nowhere to be seen ....

Hello, I've tried following your instructions as well as using the link but I still cannot access my projects... it keeps saying "To start from scratch" and that option of accessing previous files is not working.

So how was this resolved? I can't find a file either and NONE of the fixes or searches yu recommend are working. Was literally working on it last night, go in to make an edit and the whole file is gone. I saved a png but not a PDF so now what? Help!

Thank you for your patience.
I just came across your thread and wanted to know if you still need help, as our engineering team fixed some bugs.
A workaround would be to upload the PNG version you were able to download and then download this as a PDF.
I'm here to help and looking forward to hearing from you.

Was this ever resolved? I'm having the same issue. I only see "To start from scratch" under Files. There is no "Looking for files created..." message.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. When were the files you are missing created?
Many of the earlier reports on this thread relate to migration of files created in the previous version of Express (so, before mid-August 2023). For those files, you can check https://express.adobe.com/sp/projects

Having the same issue. I had also shared files with a client on November 8 and now they have dissapeared.

Also the link you provided - https://express.adobe.com/sp/projects - did not solve my issue. I only see "To start from scratch" under Files. There is no "Looking for files created..." message.

@defaultcr1tlp14zjxf like I said above https://express.adobe.com/sp/projects is not relevant for projects created in the new version of Express. Do you happen to have the URLs of any of the projects you are missing? If not, could you send me your adobe id (email that you log in with) in a direct message?
Thanks

Beware, if you try to submit a support ticket they won't help you. The agent I connected with was incredibly rude, told me that it was impossible that I'd created a file and exported is as a PDF in Adobe Express, since it didn't have that functionality. When I sent him a screenshot of the functionality, he ignored it and told me to send him a link to the file I'd exported. When I explained that it wasn't posted online because it was a print asset, he flat out told me I wasn't telling the truth and that he couldn't help me. I spent 20 minutes in a chat with someone who was demeaning and treated me like an idiot. He told me it was ridiculous to be looking for a file I'd created 9 months ago and I should have told them sooner. We have hundreds of files and I didn't realize it was missing. They obviously sunsetted the template I'd used to create the file (it's no longer available when I search for it) and in doing so deleted my graphic. And it's my fault. Fantastic customer service.
