Where have the old features gone?
I can't edit text in a separate box on the right like before.
I can't make text curved.
Is there a way I can use the previous version still?
Hey @joshuam32422280,
Welcome to the Adobe Express Community!!
With the current Adobe Express, you'd get most of the old features with some new and exciting additions too.
You might want to give the Text Effects feature a try, and as for the curved text features, it is planned and will be available for use in some time; you can, however, show your interest in it here.
The older version of Adobe Express wouldn't be available for use from now onwards, but you can always post your requirement

I'm afraid that from today (16 August 2023) the prior version of Adobe Express is no longer available for desktop - it is still on mobile. Desktop now only uses the beta version, which is now the current version.
Text is edited directly on the project canvas by highlighting the letters. Curved text is a feature that is planned, you cna see updates and vote on your favourite features here:

Also, when you say you can't edit in the right box, can you provide more info on it? If possible, share a screen recording of the workflow you're following.
Thanks,

I'm so frustrated with this app right now.
I was just getting into using Express over the past few months and found it very intuitive and easy to use.
Now it seems to have gone the way of most other Adobe products, not intuitive and extraordinarilly complicated to use with huge learning curves.
You say it has 'most of the old features' - except the simple ones I actually need.
And I see inline text editing is now a feature, whereas I really liked using the old method. Be nice if there was an option for either.

Good afternoon,
After the update, I am unable to upload an Express video into an Express page. In the past, I could do this by adding the video via the add video option. However, now I am only able to upload a video from Vimeo or YouTube. Does anyone know how to take an Express Video that I have made and bring it into an Express Page? Thank you in advance.

Hi there,
Thanks for trying the steps. Please try closing the multiple tabs if you have any opened. Closing unwanted browser tabs will free up memory and improve performance. Have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Such problems can also be fixed by clearing the browser's cache and cookies.

This.
Editing text within the post is excrucitingly slow and don't tell me to close browser windows or clear my cache. I repeat - the old version WORKED and if this one doesn't or we need to hold our breath until previously available features are once again available, forget it.
I have paid -out of my own pocket - for over 10 years for the opportunity to use Adobe products and never complained but now - I have never been so disgusted. Arrogance is the only reason this was released.
