Hey everyone,
Basic question here: I'm trying to make a wordmark logo in Adobe Express. Is there a way to remove the inner margin/space around the outside of text?
I seem to remember this not possible when I started using Express previously. I love Express for when I need to get closer to Illustrator/Photoshop without the necessary expertise in graphic design nor the practical skills of converting your vision from imagined to the page. I'm hoping that Adobe continues in that vain by expanding the capabilities of Express rather than narrowing them in the trade-off for ease of use.
Anyway, I like to digress but being this is my first post I wanted to introduce some positivity and also open the door some other commentary on whether the community has insight on the product direction. I know that PS/IL/InD etc. have been adding features to make it more accessible, so maybe at some point this app gets nerfed down and then the jump to those is more manageable, but right now it's actually usability more than budget (though, definitely that too!) that keeps an Express fan.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice, input, or comments!
PS: I put the product in the subject, even if redundant, because suggested posts served entrants for other products, and Google Search also doesn't discern this well.

I can't seem to add but wanted to add:
Letter space is set to 0 but line spacing, which I presume is the problem, won't go below 0.5. I set it to 0 but didn't see it revert back when I posted. This has to be the issue right? But why can't I adjust this? There's a tutorial from 2023 that shows the textbox with no spacing above/below the letters as I remmebered possible.
Here's a screenshot that includes my font choice, settings, and how it shows on the page. Font doesn't seem to be relevant, but included just to be safe:
