I'm not sure if this is a bug or if Adobe moved the button, but there used to be a button when uploading my image to a canvas in Adobe Express to set my image as the "background." I can't seem to find the button anymore. Now I know it's just as easy to pull the corners to fit manually on the page, but the background button would center it up and make it fit nice. If anyone knows anything about this let me know.
Ive added a screenshot of where the button used to be.

You may want to look at the link below. The article talks about layers.

Essentially, if you want a certain image or background, then that background needs to be close to the bottom of the layers. You can resize the image and so on.
Under Elements there is a selection of "Backgrounds" as well.
