Every time I try to publish a project, I get a red error message saying "We are unable to publish this project now. Please try later" Many attempts later over the course of a month the same message crops up.
My software is all up to date. I had an earlier version published through Spark with no problem, but I removed that in case it was interfering with the update, as it kept asking me to update the link, but then failed to update the link. Duplicating and renaming the file has now got rid of that error, but I still get the error message above.
I duplicated the file again, and then deleted each object and page one by one to see if any individual object was causing the problem, but that error message kept coming up. Copying the link to the original file (not the deleted one), logging out of Adobe, and then trying that link just returns a 404 message.
Anyone got any idea of what is causing the problem? I am a Premium member, but as it stands, Express is a total waste of time. My older work is still there, and works fine: I just can't publish anything new.

Hi @Top Cat2000,
Thank you for your patience, and I'm sorry you're having trouble.
Just saw your post. While I haven't seen recent reports about this, I'm here to help!
Have you tried clearing your browser cache/cookies yet? Sometimes, that can fix unexpected issues. If not, using a different browser/incognito mode might work too.
Please let us know if you still need assistance. Rest assured, we'll be happy to troubleshoot further, and looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Lyn
Thanks for getting back to me. I have actually progressed this a bit further after trying all the things you suggest. Your colleague David_B got in touch after another member asked him to take a look, and I sent him a copy of the offending project: he tried and replicated the problem, so has forwarded it to the Development team. However, I have heard nothing since - and the problem remains!

Hi
@Top Cat2000,
Thanks for the update. Is it possible for you to share the screen recording of the issue? Since when have you been seeing this issue? Did you recently install any third-party extensions on your browser or any pop blocker? This info might help us to resolve the issue.
Regards,
Tarun

This is the screen after clicking Share>Publish to Web
This first occurred in November, and has been continuous since. I have not installed any third party extensions to my browser, nor pop-up blockers. I have searched Settings to see if I had inadvertently changed anything, but I cannot see anything which might affect this. I have tried it in Firefox (my usual browser), Chrome and Safari and the same happens, so I do not think it is the browser. I disassembled the project component by component backwards to see if any one thing was causing it, but got back to the first page with just the title left with still no change!

Hi
@Top Cat2000,
Thanks for your response. Does it only happen with one project or with all? I have forwarded the information to our product team. Once I hear anything from them, I will update you.

Hi Tarun
It appears to be just this one project: I have done a couple of quick test projects since - just an image with some text, which publish correctly, though when I tried to update one of them and republish the same error occurred. I havent done anything more seriously, since I dont know whether I will get the same problems with it.
The project I have been having difficulty with is an update of an earlier version which published OK. I deleted that earlier version in case that was causing the problem, but it made no difference.
Thanks for your help
Tom

Hi Tarun
Thank you for this. I have done exactly as you said above, and when I published it took much longer thasn usual. However, it very briefly flashed up the same error message at the end.
BUT I then copied the link, and sent it to another email address I have, and logged out of Adobe. I tried then to open that link from the other email address, and it worked! The document was the one I had just published (I made one small amendment just to check I was getting the latest version, and not some earlier one). So success!
Does that mean that whenever I start a new A4 document I need to resize it to an exact number of px? This should only be necessary on the first page as I understand that successive pages will follow the size of the first, but seems a bit of a nuisance given that the A4 option is available.
