There are actually two ways to access the Eyedropper tool in Adobe Drawing, depending on what you're trying to achieve:
1. Choosing a color from the drawing itself:
- Open your drawing in Adobe Express.
- Click on the Brushes panel (paintbrush icon) situated on the left side of the interface.
- Open the Color panel by clicking on the square color swatch above the brush size slider.
- Click on the More colors option situated at the bottom of the color palette.
- You'll see an eyedropper icon (a small dropper tool) within the More colors panel. Click on it.
- Now, click on any area of your drawing where you want to pick up the color. The chosen color will automatically become your brush color.
2. Picking a color from outside Adobe Express:
- Minimize or switch away from your Adobe Express window.
- Navigate to the application or image where the color you want resides.
- Go back to Adobe Express and click on the More colors option within the Color panel again.
- Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard.
- Click on the color you want to pick in the other application or image. The chosen color will now be set as your brush color in Adobe Express.
Tip: You can adjust the Eyedropper's sampling area by clicking on the three dots next to it in the More colors panel. This lets you choose between large, medium, and small sampling sizes.
By knowing these two methods, you can easily extract and utilize any color from your drawing or any other source within Adobe Express.
