Background removal does not export transparency

I was creating an image in Firefly and wanted to remove the background but export the main featured object as an image with a transparent background.
Firefly removed the background which resulted in transparency but when I exported the image the original background was still present.

How can we export the image with a transparent backgournd.

Thanks for writing in. Currently, Firefly cannot generate transparent images. However, it's highly voted feature request. Please upvote here: https://adobe.ly/4cq0Vmd

As a workaround, you can upload the Firefly image in Adobe Express, click on the image, on the left side> remove background.
