Famous names and Trademarks not recognized

The problem with detecting the correct words and showing the correct results, it does not want to show the correct form, and additionally it changes the meaning of my query, thinking it is a forbidden word, like Albert Einstein in his youth.

There should be an option to easily create fanart, for people who want to create something more than what can be put together from pictures or photos from the past of a particular artist, creator or scientist.

On average you cannot use peron's image 70 years after they're dead. But it's different in different countries.

I'm interested in critiria Adobe uses here in Firefly to distinguish between dead people we can use and dead people we cannot use. But no one has given any straight answer.

Dear Adobe Firefly AI Team,

I am writing to report a bug in your image generative tool. I have noticed that the tool is unable to recognize Spiderman from the superhero movies and is generating weird creatures which are not child-friendly. I believe this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and fix the bug in your tool. Please let me know if you need any further information from me.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Ayan

Adobe does not allow you to use images that are copywrited, such as movie characters, comic book characters, celebrities, or any other images protected by copywrite, like Disney or Marvel. They will never fix this, as it is not a bug, it's intended to protect Adobe from being accused of copywrite infringement. So if you ask it to create a "spider man" character, you're not going to get Spiderman, you're going to get some weird combination of a spider and a man.

Hi,

Nice to get this correct answer regarding famous people but should it be valid for deceased persons ?

I'm interested in limitation for famouse people. Is there a list of names we cannot use for legal reasons? For example:

I can put Neslon Mandela in the prompt and get results. But Elvis, Bruce Lee, John Lennon are blocked and I cannot use it.

Other examples: Queen Elisabeth, Vincent van Gogh and Abraham Lincoln are not blocked, I can get results, but they don't resamble their real image.

'Sigmund Freud sitting in a chair ' gives me warning about 'Unsupported Language'.

For 'Jesus' I got at least one picture resembling popular image of Jesus.

Cleopatra might be ok, apart from showing men in results.

I wanted to generate a album cover inspired art. However, it seems that necessary context is missing.

The band - Judas Priest was taken to be Judas and I got some religious looking pictures. Even putting "Judas Priest" in quotes didn't make any difference.

You may want to get user input if the output meets expectations (or not) and use that feedback to get users to revise the description.

Platform: Windows 11 - Microsoft Edge

Using the prompt: "jogging athletic panda, wearing Nike suite" - and changing styles, for example techniques like pencil drawing or painting, these effects don't affect the design, even if you change between content type. Thank you!

Hi team,

Firefly is amazing. Would request you to start adding celebrities and characters if possible.

Hi Mohnish,

It is my personal opinion that such a feature would be difficult to implement without the prior permissions of the people involved. There is a considerable potential for misuse, and most people would not be agreeable to the idea.

Thanks,

Preran
