Firefly Image 4 (May 20, 2025)
Brave browser : v1.78.102
Mac OS: Sequoia 15.5
Submitted a reference image of several characters for examples already in the desired style.
Prompt: One young black boy walks alone across a lush meadow on a bright, sunny day.
Result: SEVERAL characters, most of which are deformed. Not useable without opening PS and editing out so much of the image, it doesn't even made sense to download it. Creating from scratch would be faster and produce better results. (UH OH!)
My opinion about Firefly 4 follows. My frustration is evident?
Does not follow prompts. Spits out other than requested, over and over and over. The need for negative prompts is excrutiatingly still present. PLEASE DON'T ADD THIS!! I didn't ask for it. Where is it coming from? Why is it still so random? Why are the humans grotesquely deformed more often than not?
How many feet do humans have? Show me a human on earth with three feet, the third on a half-leg coming from his knee??? This is problematic and literally effects my mental health. Constantly looking at gross deformities and random artifacts, in HOPE of getting that one useable image. It takes too long to get anything worth bothering. I appreciate the massive credits, BUT THEY ARE NECESSARY! That is unfortunate. It remains a novel toy, not a tool. Tools increase productivity, or are mislabled as tools.
I'm so frustrated I could scream. I used to love Adobe Stock. Now it's why I'm probably going to drop Adobe altogether. I no longer use Photoshop or any of the tools, because the materials to build with are so subpar and full of generated ERRORS. You can't see them closely while browsing. So you take the risk, only to find you've paid for out of focus, grainy, full of artifacts, TRASH!
I don't know what to say. I would like to beg you to hire actual artists and photographers to provide substance and a solid foundation on which to build with the new novel toys. Instead, we are feeding garbage into the garbage creator, and hoping it somehow spits out something useful. It's incestuous psuedo art. It's so sad. I'm so sad about what happened to Adobe.
