Firefly wants to use 13.9 GB of storage on my mac….

I use Version 16.5.1 Safari. I work with reference images all the time. I upload many. It would be great if I new where they're stored, because often I use the same images, but I have to upload them everytime again. I think the use of storage has something to do with this. How can I clear this storage, because everytime firefly wants to use more storage?

@carolinem29245871 screenshots are not part of this - once you save them they are just files on your HD.

Have you cleared browser caches before? If you don't have anything favorited you can try that.

I never favored any design. I make screenshots which I save in my photos...Is that causing the problem?

@carolinem29245871 As @droopydog500 mentioned - Firefly uses browser caches for storage including Favorites, etc. If you clear your browser cache it will wipe those out.

Another option if you are storing a lot of source material, favorites, etc. is to use the Save to Library function instead of Favoriting. This would allow you to free up browser caches and not lose history/favorites, etc.

Hello @carolinem29245871,

Thank you for your message.

How many favourites do have stored? Those are stored in the browser cache.

My best,
