Reference image function for the structure not working

Hello everyone, 

I don't know what happened but yesterday April 8th the reference image function for the structure stopped working. Even though I set the maximum power for the structure, Firefly ignores the layout of the reference image.

I even tried using already predefined reference images inside Firefly, but the result at maximum power was completely different.

I am using Windows 11 Pro v. 23H2 build 22631.3296 and the latest version of Google Chrome 123.0.6312.106

Is it a problem that I used stock.adobe.com as a reference image for the preview photo?

I only put the voucher in the mother's hand in the photo.

Weird question: any chance you used "style reference" rather than "structural reference"?

No, I'm giving a screenshot of Firefly, where you can see that the reference for the structure is at maximum. I also added a reference for the style, but it's only mid-level.

The result shows that it ignores the reference for the structure. The layout of the composition is completely different than specified.

Sorry for all the questions... if you change the structure reference image to a completely different looking image , does it work? The ones in your example are similar.

This does look like a bug.

After updating the program Adobe Firefly, I cannot upload images to the gallery, the program closes.

@Svitlana Yerko can you please explain a little more. What do you mean by "upload to the gallery"?  Is it giving any error message?

I've tried a different promt and a different theme than mother and daughter and reference images for the structure and Firefly does it quite nicely. It adheres exactly to the given composition according to the reference.

I find that if I use a promt for mother and daughter and upload a reference image for that theme, Firefly completely ignores the reference for the structure.

Ok, did you thumbs down the image and provide feedback saying the structure image was ignored? If not, please do so. Adobe will need to look into this further.  Thank you.

Are you trying to create a replica of the stock image @Venca_p ?

If yes, I doubt the engine is going to do that.

Also, remember that these Ai engines rely on the data that is available to them.

AFAIK, Firefly draws from some, not all of the Adobe Stock library.

Я намагалася використати як єталон зображення, що було згенероване самим Firefly раніше. Програма каже "Вибачте, спробуйте пізніше". Те саме відбувається з будь-яким зображенням, окрім тих, що пропонує сама Firefly. Дуже схоже на помилку. Раніше, перед оновленням все працювало.

@Tomas31456851ra0h, is your Composition Reference transparent? If so, fill the transparency in with a contrasting colour.. Other thing to try is add "in the shape of letter 'B'" or something similar.  The text prompt also can impact shape of object.

Try to give structure reference image below 1000 pixels at 72 resolution. It may work.
