A technical problem that @droopydog500 has addressed.
Adobe's business model around Firefly. I think we had a sense that at some point the beta would come to an end and we'd have to pay for the srive in some way or other. It's no different to ChatGPT or MidJourney,
I'm not defending their position, merely stating the nature of market forces.
I have a subscription, I use both Firefly from the phone (because there no better solution for mobile photography) and within Photoshop. If I report an issue I expect them to fix it.
Intially I could add different types of background through Firefly but now no matter what direction I give theres only one brown background and it looks pathetic.
Please resolve.
Below attached the background that keeps appearing.
Subject: Bug Report: Background Not Changing Properly in Adobe Firefly
Dear Adobe Firefly Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am a dedicated user of Adobe Firefly for photo editing, and I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring bug that I have encountered recently.
The issue pertains to the background change feature within the application. Whenever I attempt to change the background of an image, the transition does not occur seamlessly. Additionally, the new background does not blend naturally with the rest of the image, resulting in an unnatural appearance.
As someone who relies on Adobe Firefly for professional and personal projects, this bug has become a significant hindrance to my workflow. I kindly request your team to investigate this matter promptly and implement a solution to rectify the issue.
Your swift attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it would ensure a smoother and more efficient experience for all users of Adobe Firefly.
@Gabinda36850335ynq3: Can you please be a little more specific? Is it the blurry background you are referring to? If so, there is a problem with generative fill. Adobe is aware and working on a fix. Until that is released, if you have access to Photoshop, generative fill in Photoshop does not seem to be affected by this problem.
If that is not the issue, please describe your problem in more detail.
If I want to use generative fill in Adobe Firefly Web, then It will not work. I already attached my screenshot. Why do I have this problem all the time? Please solve this problem.
@M H Rohan, you are trying to extend the image? Firefly has never been good at extending and it seems worse now. Photoshop is the best tool for generative extend.
@Yousat368830682fjs: Yes, there is a problem with generative fill from the last release that is causing this to happen sometimes. Adobe is aware and working on a fix. Until that is released, if you have access to Photoshop, generative fill in Photoshop does not seem to be affected by this problem.
Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.
This general problem raised in this thread was fixed. You might be experiencing a different problem. Can you please show us some screen shots of the results you are getting?
