Adobe Firefly

Hello,

I was wanting to try out the regenerative colour feature. I converted an image to an svg file and uploaded it, but every time nothing happens and on the right side I get the  message - File contains elements that cannot be modified.

How can I fix this?

I converted the png file using Illustrator and also tried PS and both have the same message.
