Hey @goshag30118298
You may also want to check out this link about how to generate images using Adobe Firefly.

Hey @goshag30118298

Another way to look at prompting in Firefly:
1) Focus on what you want: clear sunny day
2) Look at Adobe Stock.  What tags are people using to identify images?
Use those tags in your prompt. Adobe Firefly has been trained on Adobe Stock images and public domain images. This means we need to do a bit of research to determine how images have been labled.

3) Prompting takes time and finese.

Bonus: Join us on the Adobe Firefly Discord. This is the type of conversation to have there.

Under the events button on Adobe Firefly Discord, Mon to Thurs Shawn and Jack answer questions, show us how to use Firefly in the different apps, and it's just simply a fun way to meet other creatives.

Cheers,
O. Nate

Hello @goshag30118298,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

The model does not understand the concept of a word being negated by the word in front of it. So using "not [X]", "no [X]", "exclude [X]", "with no [X]", and "without [X]" does not work. As you observed, it ignores the negation word and adds to the image the thing you are trying to avoid.  You basically need to find "positive" words and phrases telling the model what you want to see rather than telling it what you do not want to see.  Such as "flat land" rather than "no mountains" or "desolate" rather than "no people".  If I am not sure how to describe something I want to exclude in a positive way, I will ask Google Gemini or ChatGPT for ideas.  Just be aware that when they give prompts, they are usually too wordy and conversational, so you have to edit them, but they are good for ideas.

On the good news, it looks like in Model 4, negative prompting will return based on the keynote at Adobe MAX. There is no definitive timeline for its release, but something to look forward to. If you missed the keynote on October 14, you can view it here: Adobe MAX Opening Keynote.

In the case you raise, this seemed to work for me:

completely clear cloudless blue skies over the mountain with rays of sun

Thanks,
