I'll start by saying that the Inpaint feature in Firefly handles pretty well compared to other similar gen AI tools; particularly the 'Expand' one.
However, there's a downside to this and that comes to colour management... and I'm not talking about the generated area, I'm talking about the entire processed image.
The output will alter the colours on the entire object, regardless of its file format or any assigned colour space.
This becomes extremely visible in cases where these outputs need to print!
Attached are a few examples showing an original image and its output from Firefly after using the 'Expand' feature, a merged composite where the original is overlayed on top of the expanded one and some snippets that showcase the colour difference closer.
Is there a way to get around this or at least minimise it?
