Export Adobe Firefly Generated Image into Firefly Video

I recently gained beta access to the new Firefly Video, and overall, it's quite impressive. However, I encountered an issue when trying to generate a video from an image I’d previously created with Adobe Firefly. The image was flagged with a guidelines warning, but no specific explanation was provided.

 

My thought is that Adobe may not fully trust the image source, perhaps due to concerns about potential copyright content. If there were a way to export images directly from Firefly Image into Firefly Video, it might help Adobe verify the image's origin, potentially reducing restrictive judgments on Firefly-created content.

    In this case, it appears the model believes the image contains a child. The current model does not support video creation using an image containing children. That is why this image was not accepted.

    Thanks for looking into that, I thought it was a copyright thing. Just for fun I added a moustache to the character and sure enough it worked!

    Hi @davodl68708777,

     

    This is still new, so we are still learning how it applies policies in image to video. Adobe generally does not state the specific reason why images are flagged, in text/image to video or even text to image. So, depending on the image, it can be difficult to figure out why.

     

    Ok, I see the content credentials do indicate it was created with Firefly, so it is curious it was rejected. Will look into this further.

      Hi Droopydog,

       

      Sorry for late reply. Was off during Holidays. Here is the image I was trying to work with. I originally had some text in it and removed it and just left it as a green card for easier editing. My hypothesis is the system thought I was trying to use Disney Property ( ie Tinkerbell)

      Hello @davodl68708777,

      Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem. 

      More likely it is something in the image triggering the error. If you are able to post the image, I am happy to take a look at it.

       

      I suspect when Text to Video comes out of beta it will be more integrated with other Adobe tools such as Firefly and Adobe Express. But it is still the very early days of Text to Video.
