Firefly Tips, Tricks, and Known Bugs

We'll try to keep this thread updated with tips, tricks, and known issues so please be sure to check back!

  1. You can favorite ❤ your images. There are several limitations at the moment:
    • This will be saved to the local browser and is not connected to an individual's CC Library yet.
    • Favorites will not persist when switching to a different browser or using an incognito browser
    • Only works for Text to Image and Text Effect modules
    • Favoriting images using 'Use as reference image' and 'Show similar' generated images is not optimized yet
    • If logged out, once signing back in, you will need to refresh the Favorites page to see your favorites
    • If your favorites aren't showing, please log out and restart your browser.
  2. Generative Fill - Change the size and hardness of the selection brush
    • Start using the brush tool
    • Settings panel will appear where you can select different options.

    Sharing is now available on the Firefly website! You can now share your image with friends and they'll be able to view the image without needing to login to Firefly.

    1. Go to the share menu
    2. Select "Copy link" ("Share link" on mobile)
    3. First time use dialog box will appear. Copy link
    4. Share on social media and with your friends!

    The Firefly Beta website now accepts prompts in over 100 languages. We are also excited to announce the availability of the Firefly beta website in 5 languages in addition to English: German, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese. 

     

    We have added 6 new fonts for Japanese characters. You can access them by clicking "View All" in the Font section 

     

    Scroll down and you will see the new fonts.

    Update on a known bug: Many users are reporting "Can't load" errors. A couple quick things you can check:

    • Please check if your account is registered to a region where Firefly is available.
    • Please make sure you have updated your browser and are using the most recent version.

    If these don't work, please be patient as we are currently working to fix some bugs that may be causing this.

    A couple tips:

    • If you're encountering Load Errors frequently, please perform a hard refresh on your browser Ctrl(Cmd) + Shift + R. If this doesn't work, try accessing the site with an incognito browser. Also, check that you have the most recent version of your browser.
    • If your Generative Fill screen is only partially showing up or the image is very small, please update to a newer browser version.
    • If you are trying to download a Generative Fill image and you are getting the original image without your newly generated backgrounds, please make sure you're clicking "Keep" before downloading

      KNOWN BUGS:

      1. Some users are encountering a blank screen when clicking into a module. We are working on a fix for this. Stay updated on this issue by following this thread.
      2. Some users are encountering an offline error when they are online. Please perform a hard refresh on your browser Ctrl(Cmd) + Shift + R. If you are still seeing the error, please visit this thread to provide us with more information.
      3. Styles may not work with very long prompts. This will be fixed soon. Stay updated by following this thread.
      4. Favorites is not working for some users. Please try logging out and rebooting. Also, please make sure you have adequate hard disk space. See this post for known limitation of this feature.
      5. 9:16 aspect ratio distorts images.
