Hi I received an email saying I'm in and welcome to generate video. But when I try to use the feature it says I don't have access to use it.

How can we see how much credits does a certain function in Firefly need? I'm trying to test the video generate but cant't use it as I always get an error: You don't have enough credits for this generative action.

I have almost 1.000 credits left and can't generate any video which is strange considering the conditions mentioned below.

I have Adobe CC plan and enough Firefly credits but can't make a 3rd Image-to-Video, it asks me to subscribe to a Firefly plan. Is this an error?

I would like to know the same thing. I have a lot of generative credits left over from my CC subscription. Why can't I use them for Firefly?

I have a monthly-paid Creative Cloud subscription. My Adobe account shows "Monthly generative credits" at 996/1000 left that expire Feb 26th.

But in trying to use https://firefly.adobe.com/ I am told I can't generate anything because I don't have credits, with a promotion to purchase credits.

Why am I not being allowed to use Firefly generative credits that I've paid for?!

Why am I being pushed to purchase credits when I still have ample remaining?!

Got on the phone with Adobe "Customer Support" and it was explained to me – what is missing entirely from the Firefly site or my Adobe Creative Cloud app and Account – there are 2 types of "Firefly" generative credits. Those I get with the CC monthly subscription only include images

To generate video or audio, apparently, you currently have to purchase a different type of Firefly generative credits. Adobe fails to communicate this anywhere I've looked.

wasnt even enough free ones to really test. results were really bad. also wouldnt want to buy another sub ontop of my "all apps" sub even if it did work... adobe needs to let people use their exisiting generative credits; especially with how bad the video generation is right now.

Hi TimChu!

Creative Cloud plans do not currently include premium generative AI features, but Adobe is providing some free access for a set number of premium feature generations (2 free video generations and 40 seconds of translation). To generate more than what is currently included, beyond free generations, you can add on a Firefly Standard or Pro plan.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
KR

@Kartika Rawat  Is Adobe going to reconsider this approach to making CC subscribers only have 2 videos for trial? It really is as others mentioned feeling like we are being charged to be your beta testers and the results of many of our videos were really poor. I guarantee you Adobe will make more sales if you are more generous with your free trial generations, well unless the quality is consistently bad. There are other free or more generous options that are just a search away. Help us help you.

The last thing any Adobe subscriber wants is another subscription on top of a subscription. The whole trend now is services to help you reduce your subscriptions, right? I think we're concerned there will be new "Pro" pay-to-play tools in Photoshop and Illustrator and Premiere that are all add-ons. It just sends a really concerning message. If the text to video was just stunning, realistic, spot on I could justify the cost. But you never gave us a chance with two generations.

Generation 1 was a cornfield flyover. The motion was decent but it had mountains in the background which usually corn isn't grown in the environment. Every thing looked so cartoony.

Generation 2 was a woman shopping in a grocery store. I opted for a more zoomed in view. It gave a unique camera in the cart angle as she dropped in pieces of fruit. The realism was better than generation one but her arm kept changing shape or disappearing or glitching?

How can I evaluate if I want to add ANOTHER subscription on those two results?

So again, will Adobe reconsider this? I do appeciate Adobe now having actual employees instead of likely compensated Adobe Community Experts jumping in. My guess is Adobe was caught offguard how unpopular this is. Better to course correct before YouTube explodes with anti-Adobe videos to cash in on views. Trust me, Disney learned its leassons when their greatest influencers started cashing in bashing them. Again, help us, help you. Let's develop some synergy. You deliver an incredible and convenient and affordable text to video we can't live without and then we are your greatest authentic evangelists.
