I'm trying to use firefly video generator, but it's not allowing me. Saying the following (see screenshot)

(translated from Dutch):

''You have no access to this funtion
You can contact your provider to ask for permission.''

Is this a bug, or is the feature legitimately locked for me for some reason?
Thanks in advance for the help.

UPDATE (as of Feb 13)

I have asked Adobe for some clarification on this and they have told me the following:

Text to video and image to video are not available for EDU enterprise plans at this time. Apologies to those of you on EDU plans who received email saying you could now access the Firefly video beta.

For all other enterprise plans, if the enterprise has purchased a plan that includes audio and video generation the enterprise administrator will see that module as being available. If

Hi @droopydog500

Thank you for the quick reply!

It is true that my account is a school account.
I teach Crossmedia in a secondary school in Belgium and would like to introduce my students to the new possibilities of Adobe Firefly.

Creative greetings,
Anselm

Hello @anselm_3685,

Ah, ok. EDU enterprise plans currently do not have Firefly video included in their plans.  More information is in the pinned note above.

Hi droopydog500

Oh too bad because I would have liked to be able to introduce this to my students.

Is there a chance that this will be possible soon?

Unfortunately, I am not sure. Your Adobe Administrator can contact their Adobe account executive and ask.

Hello @Maya38937663g80q,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Is your use of Adobe products through an educational institution? If so, Firefly video is not available on educational plans at this time. If you are on another enterprise plan other than an educational plan, your administrator is likely someone in your IT department. Here is Adfobe's document on finding out who this person is: How do I contact my Adobe administrator?

Thanks,

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering a frustrating issue with the Generative Video tool in Firefly and hoping someone can help. I have over 800 credits in my account, which should be more than enough. However, whenever I try to generate a video, I get an "Out of Credits" error message.

The strange thing is, I can still generate images using the Generative Image tool without any problems. My credit balance is correctly displayed, and it clearly shows I have plenty of credits.

I've already tried the usual troubleshooting steps:

Logging out and back into my Adobe account.
Checking my internet connection (it's stable).
Trying different prompts (the issue occurs with all prompts).
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known bug or a setting I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My System:

Operating System: Win 11
Browser: Google chrome

Hello @huynh_manh9488,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

This is a plan issue, not a technical issue. Based on this error message, it appears you are on an enterprise plan:

You don't have enough credits for this generative action. Contact your reseller/account manager to buy the Firefly Premium plan for continuous access or wait for your monthly reset if your organization already has the Firefly Premium plan, you can go to the Admin Console and assign the license to yourself.

Does your enterprise have Firefly Premium as part of your plan?  Your organisation's Adobe administrator should know, or if that person does not know, they can contact their Adobe account representative.

I have run into an issue whenever using the newer features on firefly. I have plenty of generative credits left but after my first generation with whichever new tool, I get a notification that asks me to request more credits from my administrator. In the last month I used the new AI Translation tool once and then when it failed on the second attempt I checked how many credits I'd used. In this case I saw that I have 997/1000 credits left.

Pressumably, either the credits aren't displaying correctly or there is a bug preventing me from accessing new tools. What is happening here?

Hello @Solomon_3800,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Are you on an educational enterprise plan?  If so, video is not currently available on EDU plans.  If not, your local Adobe administrator can consult with their Adobe account rep on what plan is needed for Firefly video.

It depends on what features are on the enterprise plan. Not all are the same.

Firefly tells me always: "You do not have access to this function. You can contact your administrator to request access."
My colleague, who is responsible for our Adobe licenses here in our company, can't do anything either.

Can anybody help?

Best,

Philippe

Hi @Phil___,

Are you on an EDU enterprise plan? If so, Firefly video is not available on those plans at this time. If you are on another enterprise plan, and video does not seem to be available, it might not be available on your current plan. Your Adobe administrator can contact their Adobe account rep about adding Firefly video to your plan.

Even though I have received an approval mail from Adobe to use the video creation in Adobe Firfly, when I started using this, I have received a message saying "" You don't have access to this feature, you can contact your admin"
I don't have any admin for my subscription. How to solve this?

Hello @umamaheshr96308759,

Thank you for your message.

It appears Adobe sent email to everyone on the waiting list about the public beta for Firefly video, including to enterprise users. However, not all enterprise plans have Firefly video included in their plan. Firefly video is not available on EDU enterprise plans. If your enterprise is not an educational institution, your local Adobe administrator can contact their Adobe account rep about adding Firefly video to your organisation's enterprise plan.

Thanks,

Whenever I try to generate a video, it tells me "Your complimentary generations have ended. You can contact your admin to buy a Firefly plan for continued access". I followed the rules where it tells me how to contact my admin but every time I go to my account to find the Contact Administrator dialog box, it's not there and when I click on view apps and services, it tells me that I have unlimited access and generative uses. How can I make my Firefly stop giving me that disclaimer and let me use it since I have access to it in my subscription?

Hello @norashaeri,

Thank you for your message.

Not all enterprise plans have Firefly video capability. If you are getting that error, it is likely it is not part of your enterprise's plan. I am not sure how you looked for who your local Adobe administrator is. Adobe's guide on that is here: How do I contact my Adobe administrator? If that does not work, contact your IT department. Your local Adobe admin can contact their Adobe account representative about adding Firefly video to your organisation's plan (if available—it is currently not available on EDU plans).

Hello @지민홍21804870,

Thank you for your message.

Based on the error message, it appears you are on an enterprise plan. Not all Enterprise plans have access to Firefly Video. If Firefly video is not on your enterprise plan, your local Adobe administrator can contact their Adobe account representative to enquire about adding it to your plan.

Hi

I've received an email saying I was selected to use the Beta version of Adobe Firefly video. Unfortunately, I'm unable to use the video generator.  (see attached mail and screenshot).
Every time I would like to try the video generator it says I don't have access to this feature and I should  contact my admin to request access. I've attached a screenshot of the issue.

Could you help me?

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards
Dennis
