I'm trying to use firefly video generator, but it's not allowing me. Saying the following (see screenshot)
(translated from Dutch):
''You have no access to this funtion
You can contact your provider to ask for permission.''
Is this a bug, or is the feature legitimately locked for me for some reason?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Hi @173fuel,
Firefly video is currently not available on any educational enterprise plan. Adobe has not announced when or if that will change in the future.

UPDATE (as of Feb 13)
I have asked Adobe for some clarification on this and they have told me the following:
Text to video and image to video are not available for EDU enterprise plans at this time. Apologies to those of you on EDU plans who received email saying you could now access the Firefly video beta.
For all other enterprise plans, if the enterprise has purchased a plan that includes audio and video generation the enterprise administrator will see that module as being available. If

Hello @Cross Assembly Creative,
It appears you are on an enterprise plan. Not all enterprise plans have video capability or have it enabled by default. Your best bet is to talk with your organisation's Adobe administrator. If you are not sure who that is, please start with your IT department.

If you are the Adobe enterprise admin for your organisation, you can contact Adobe support from your administrator console and get assistance with provisioning Firefly to users.

Hello @DTU_asger,
Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.
Not all enterprise plans have Firefly video generation included. For example, EDU enterprise plans do not have and cannot adds Firefly video at this time. Other enterprise plans might have to add on to their enterprise plan to get Firefly video. Your organisation's Adobe Admin can seek assistance from Adobe support via their administrator console.
Thanks,

Firefly beta video generator only let me create 2 videos and then required some kind of admin permissions to access more. I logged into the Admin account and there is no option to add a Firefly Pro service to our plan. Is this an error? I wanted to explore the tool in its entirety but was only able to generate 2 videos. The credits in the top-right drop-down indicate I have 500/500. Not sure what is going on.

I received any email that reads:
"Hello, We’ve got great news — Generate Video (beta) is now available. Powered by the Adobe Firefly Video Model, Generate Video (beta) lets you generate new, commercially safe video clips with the ease of creative AI. Quickly communicate your creative intent, create b-roll to fill gaps, add new elements to a shot, and so much more."
But when I go to the page to attempt to test text to video or image to video it says: " You don't have access to this feature. You can contact your admin to request access. "
So do I have access to the Beta or do I not?
Might be a bug?

Hello @Marcel_MV,
Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.
You appear to be on an enterprise plan. If the plan your enterprise has includes video, your local Adobe administrator would need to enable your account for video. If the plan your enterprise has does not include video, they would need to contact Adobe to have it added to your plan. Note, if you are on an EDU enterprise plan, video is not currently available on those plans.
I believe the email about Firefly video was sent to everyone on the waiting list and enterprise users were not filtered out of the email.
Thanks,
droopy

Dear support,
I'm an Adobe Education Institute fellow and was able to access Adobe Firefly video. I have generated some works but accidentally requested credits, although this was not necessary, and have received the below error message ever since mid february 2025.
Even logging out and back in again did not resolve the issue. Please find a screenshot attached.
Best wishes,

Is it possible you've spent your credits included in your plan, and thats why the message pops up making you able to create more?

I have a university license for Adobe Express for students with the email address
However, I am unable to use my credits for video generation in Firefly. Why do the credits work only for image generation and not for videos at all?
I have 181/250 generation credits, but they only work for image generation. The same 181/250 credits are displayed on the video side as well, but they cannot be used there.
When trying to generate videos, Firefly gives the following message:
You do not have access to this feature.
You can request access from your administrator.
However, I have received an email stating:
"Your administrator at the University has granted you access to Adobe Express for students."

Hello @jaro_2584,
Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.
I am sorry, Firefly video is not currently available on EDU Enterprise plans. It does say you can request access from your administrator, but on EDU plans, the administrator is not able to give access because it is not available on those plans.
Thanks,
droopy
