P: Firefly Video access issues with organisations on Enterprise or Teams plans

I'm trying to use firefly video generator, but it's not allowing me. Saying the following (see screenshot)

(translated from Dutch):

''You have no access to this funtion
You can contact your provider to ask for permission.''

Is this a bug, or is the feature legitimately locked for me for some reason?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi @173fuel,

Firefly video is currently not available on any educational enterprise plan. Adobe has not announced when or if that will change in the future.

Bonjour,

Bonjour @valentino_9186,

While you have access to standard Firefly services, such as text to image, text to vector, generative fill, etc., Firefly video and translation services are currently not available on educational enterprise plans. It referred to to your local administrator because that is its standard response when you try to access a service that is not on your institution's enterprise plan.

Bien à vous,

Hello, in Adobe FireFly I can't generate a video from a image. When I try to do it, the next message pops up: "You do not have access to this feature. You can contact your administrator to request access."

How do I fix this?

Kind Regards

Xander

Hello @xander_2158,

Thank you for your message.

It sounds like you are on an enterprise plan. Not all enterprise plans have Firefly video capability. If you are getting that error, it is likely it is not part of your enterprise's plan. Please contact your organisation's Adobe administrator. Adobe's guide on that is hereHow do I contact my Adobe administrator? If that does not work, contact your IT department. Your local Adobe admin can contact their Adobe account representative about adding Firefly video to your organisation's plan (if available—it is currently not available on EDU plans).

Thanks,

Hello @tymoteusz_6987,

Thank you for your message.

Are you trying to generate video?  If so, what type of subscription do you have?

If you are on an enterprise plan, your enterprise plan has to have Adobe Video on the plan. Please contact your local Adobe administrator. If Firefly video is not on your enterprise plan, they can contact your organisation's Adobe account representative to enquire about adding it.

If you are on a personal plan, Adobe Firefly video is a premium service which requires a separate Firefly premium plan. For more information, please see: Firefly Standard or Firefly Pro plans and more details in the pinned reply in this post: P: Plan error in generating video.

If you have purchased a premium Firefly subscription or you have access to Firefly premium services on an enterprise plan, please include a screen shot of the whole browser window (including you avatar in the upper right corner) with the error showing, and tell us your operating system and browser along with the version numbers.

Thanks,

Hello @valentino_9186,

Thank you for your message.

I presume you are an enterprise user. What specifically did you ask for (can you show the screen where you requested it)?

Thanks,

Bonjour, quand je me rend sur le site, un pop up m'indique que je n'ai pas accès à Adobe Firely, et mentionne que je doit contacter un administrateur.

Merci

Is your account part of an institution? If so, I would check with the admin people who manage the instituonal accounts.

Hello @Alessandro Sisto,

Thank you for your message.

What Firefly function were you trying to use?

Can you please show us a screen shot of the full browser window with the error including your avatar in the upper right corner?

Thanks,

Hello Firefly community,

I was trying to create an animation. I have one Adobe All Apps account. The message says it won't generate an animation and says:

Your request is on its way

You’ll hear back from your admin soon. If your request is approved, you’ll get an email with instructions on how to start using your apps and services. Learn more about requesting Adobe apps.

What should I do? I'm just an individual. I have no administrator. I am my own admin.

Thank you for the help!

Hello @michael_riley,

If you are the administrator and do not have Firefly video on your plan, you will need to contact your Adobe account executive to enquire about adding video to your plan.

Hi, kann nicht bei Firefly generieren. Schreibt das ich nicht berechtigt bin obwohl ich Admin bin. Kann auch keine Credits kaufen, dann kommt diese Meldung.

Hello @fabian_5421,

Thank you for your message.

It appears you are on an enterprise plan. Firefly video is not available on all enterprise plans. That message you saw means a request was sent to your local organisation's Adobe administrator. If Firefly video is not available on your organisation's plan, they will need to contact Adobe about adding it. If you are on an educational enterprise plan, Firefly video is not available on those plans at this time.

You can contact your local Adobe administrator for more information. For information on how to contact your organisation's Adobe administrator, please see: How do I contact my Adobe administrator?

Thanks,
