1. Can anyone confirm that Adobe applications that feature I.A. Do require local processing (CPU/NPU)? (and not only GPU);
2. I'm looking forward to understanding what is the impact of using a 40+ TOPS CPU instead of an 11+ or non-NPU.
3. Is there any benchmark database or even a benchmark that I could run in both platforms to help me to understand these possible gains?

Hi,
Are you asking about Firefly specifically (this is posted in the Firefly forum) or all Adobe apps? For Firefly, the image processing is all done on Adobe servers. The only local processing is the user interface in the browser.

Hi! Thank you for your answer!
Both, is there any other app that uses local processing?

For the generative AI features, no.

Understood, and thank you very much. Besides Generative AI, are there other use cases where workloads have shifted from execution on the CPU to execution on the NPU (even partially)? Any examples of application optimization independent of Generative AI?

That question might be better asked in the Photoshop or Premier Pro forums. I do not know enough about their internals to answer authoritatively.
