Interesting to note that in all the iterations to reach this image, the lizards were rendered beautifully and in high detail, whereas the human figures were anything but.

The lizard turned out great but it messes up a little with the human figures. And as always the laptop screen and lizard fingers. However, I like how that person looks right at the lizard.

Here are a few attempts. I find that the more detailed the prompt, the less accurate the result is. Had to keep simplifying it to get the dinasours to appear.

One prompt:
group of explorers step through a shimmering portal that swirls in a dazzling display of cosmic colors. On one side, a prehistoric jungle with massive dinosaurs, the other a futuristic utopia with towering glass skyscrapers and neon-lit streets. storybook realism, cinematic, bright, colourful, warm colours - orange, yellows

This isnt exactly what i was looking for but it made me laugh so figured i would share it.

PROMPT:

Create a time changing scene that starts out with a caveman in dinosaur country driving a simplistic time machine made out of stone. As the caveman and the time machine pass thru a shimmering wall full of different colors of crackling lightning, they moph into a futuristic man driving a highly detailed complicated time machine towards a futuristic neon city.
