Thank you for the feedback. For now, you can click on Try Prompt for the image you'd like to delete. When you get to the canvas with 4 images, you can select the heart to unfavorite it.
When I go to the canvas of 4 images the hearts aren't selected on any of the images, I can only favorite again. So deletion is not an option using the unfavorite heart.
It appears this problem has been fixed. I am again able to remove favourites by going to the favourite, going back to the generation page, and unchecking the favourite button (★→☆).

Firefly Image 3/2024: Can you delete a favorited image w/o needing to regenerate the examples (which I believe uses your credits to go this route)?
I am new to using Firefly and may not know the correct way to delete an older favorited image. I understand that you go to your "Favorites" tab and select the image you would like to detlete; then select the "View Samples" button. This will then regenerate all your samples from that prompt, then you deselect the starred icon (favorites) from the image you would like to delete from your favorites. I noticed by doing this, you also use up more "Generation Credits" from your account by regenerating the "View Samples".
Is there a better way to save the images that you like at the time, so you can review them later & edit/whittle down your selections? In other words, is it better to "Download" the image rather than "Favorite" it?
You used to be able to uncheck the favourited image when you went back to the generation page before clicking on the generate button. But that does not seem to be working again. Actually, it is working for some but not for others. I am not sure what the pattern is for why it works for some and not others.
There is no other way to remove a favourite other than to delete all of them.
Thank you very much for replying... I appreciate your taking the time to do so! I may just download them so I can sort through and edit them on the computer & also offline. Once more, thank you very much! Have a lovely week!
The "Remove from favorites" button/option in Adobe Firefly is missing from ALL the images I have in my favorites section.
I saved them in my browser mainly becuase there is no option to save them elsewhere (not that I can see)
Any images older than say a few months do not allow me to delete or remove them from favorites... the little "Star" icon only allows me to save them in favorites (again)
I have a ton of them and I am stuck - can anyone help please?
I have merged your post here with others raising the same issue. Unfortunately, there has never been an easy way to delete favourites. If you scroll up to here, I show how to delete them. Just ignore my comment on it being impossible to delete them. You can again, but the process has been unreliable over time.
Nope does not work. Currently (again) there is zero way to clear the Favorites images you have Saved in the browser. Adobe has created a nice looking car with only 3 wheels, eventually, things will go wrong... and there is zero care factor - So incredibly frustrating!!😡
Thank you for writing☺️ This was a few months ago when I was trying to remove a few favorites from the list. I was able to remove, but in order to do so, I needed to select the favorited image and regenerate them... then remove. I will try again when I open up Firefly.
Thank you for your time to write back! I will try again when I open up Firefly. Have a lovely day!
Any images that are, approximately, more than 1 or 2 month/s old and saved in your browser, will not be able to be un-favorited. When you click on the image, the system will show you the other 3 images (total 4) and all will have the same option to make favorite by clicking on the star (but not the opposite).
If you have a ton of images your only option will be to, maybe, clear the cache and this will probably delete everything? ... it will take me a very long time to test this after I manually save everything and record related information.
