None of my loaded Adobe fonts are synching to the creative cloud desktop app (let alone any of my actual programs). Everything else appears to be working fine, but under Added Fonts it just has the blue wheel of death and says "Loading Adobe Fonts...". It's been like this for at least 2 hours. I'm using a PC, Windows 11. I've never had any issues before and nothing with my system has changed. Please help!

Having the same issue today. I can't tell if it's an issue with just Adobe Fonts or with Adobe CC as a whole.

We've had multiple reports at my company. I've just raised an Enterprise Support ticket hopefully if you're still facing an issue I can post an update here soon.

This the latest we have:
Hello,
This is a note from Adobe and we want to inform you that the issue should be fixed for the code sync and fonts and we would recommend you to kindly update creative cloud desktop app to the latest version once and in case if the issue is not resolved please let us know
I've noticed that users who were having issues and are now running version 6.0.0.571 aren't facing the issue.

Whole team down because of this. Even though status.adobe.com isn't reporting an official outage yet, this would be the 2nd major Adobe Fonts outage in the past week. They force their Cloud Crap down our throats with no real workaround if it goes down. Now we can be really resourceful and go into their hidden folders and spend countless hours trying to find the fonts if by a stroke of luck it was activated recently, but that isn't the most legitimate way getting back up and running.

I've been dealing with the same issue for weeks now. I only have access to 416 and not the 3600 I should have. I'm on a macbook pro.
Adobe: are you doing anything about this?

You have 3600 fonts synced via the Adobe Fonts service? Everyone can do what they like, but I usually have no more than a couple hundred fonts from Adobe Fonts activiated at any given time.
You mentioned the problem has been going on "for weeks now." Have you noticed the changes in the Creative Cloud desktop app regarding synced Adobe Fonts? Fonts can expire after a certain number of days of not being used. In order to use fonts that are activated at the Adobe Fonts site in all applications those have to be installed using the Creative Cloud desktop app. Those extra steps are more of an incentive for me to activate only the type families I need at the time and remove others I'm not using.

By @Bobby Henderson
Having too may fonts on your system slows down the machine, independently of Adobe and Adobe fonts and the OS.

Agreed. The quality of fonts that are installed in the operating system also matters a great deal. Fonts that are poorly authored can be a drag on system speed and stability. People should use caution when downloading any free-ware fonts. I've even seen technical issues with fonts downloaded from the Google Fonts web site; and that's probably the best free fonts web site. I'm also very hestitant at installing complex picture fonts (fonts that have clip art illustrations pretending to be glyphs); those can really hang up the scrolling performance of a font menu.

@Bobby Henderson I have no fonts synced with Adobe. I can access the few that I would like to download. When doing a font search, they don't even show up. Any other ideas?

I would try signing out of your CC account and then signing back in. Also check to make sure you're not over your limit on the number of devices signed into the account.

Yes, this exactly. I'm STILL having the same issue a week later, but my co-worker hasn't had it happen at all. I've attempted to uninstall/reinstall but that didn't help. Tried working on a different network access (at the office vs at home) but no change.

on my side I deleted all my local fonts (keeping only the system fonts) to see if there was any conflict, but it had no effect, I also uninstalled and used AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe but again no change. It's becoming a real handicap as we're really dependent on Adobe Fonts... if anyone has the magic solution... thank you!

Are you behind a corporate firewall? My IT always loved to mess around with the firewall, blocking unknown sites to them.

thanks for your suggestion, my colleague who uses the same network as me with another Adobe ID has no problems, the fonts load directly when she clicks on Fonts from the Creatibe Cloud application. i've tried restarting windows 10 in no-fail mode with authorized connection, but that doesn't change anything. maybe I need to delete some Adobe entries in the registry (regedit)? but which ones?

Do you have any other software running that could interfere with the Adobe Fonts service, such as a VPN?

no nothing, as I said above I've tried restarting windows 10 in no-fail mode with authorized connection and just opened adobe creative cloud and no other process, style the same problem
maybe an entry to change in regedit ?

I doubt hacking Windows' registry is going to help. I wouldn't know where to begin since there are entries scattered around in various places.
When you mention restarting Windows in "no fail mode" do you mean Safe Mode? If so, Windows' safe mode turns off a lot of functions in the OS and could prevent things like the Adobe Fonts service from functioning properly.
If your computer is connected to a company network does your login have full admin control? Or does it have a limited rights login? Just to be thorough, I'd make sure various pieces of hardware (like the graphics card) have their drivers up to date and do the same with other applications installed the computer.
It's odd that you're able to launch Adobe CC apps, but the fonts part of it is not working.
