Certifications and classroom courses

New Here ,
Jul 21, 2022 Jul 21, 2022

We are new to Prime and are setting up certifications. We're told it's not possible to assign a classroom course to a certification (we can only assign self-paced modules).

We have employees that have to take classroom courses to keep their professional registrations up to date e,g gas safety certificates, and electrical registrations to name but a few

Does anyone know how we can use the certification feature to manage these? Has anyone found a workaround?

Your question was wrongly moved to the Captivate forum, I will move it again to the Prime forum which is different from this forum. Sorry for the inconvenience.

My bad... apparently the Captivate Prime forum is non-existent at this moment although I have move quite a lot of questions to that forum in the past.

Just hoping someone from Prime will pop in here, because the people answering most questions are not Prime users but Captivate (eLearning authoring tool) users. Maybe you could try also to post in the eLearning community?

OK, I found out that the name of the Prime forum has changed. I will move your question to the Adobe Learning Manager. It would be great if moderators were at least warned of that type of changes. My apologies, but this late move is not due to me...

Hi, @Lilybiri Sorry to hear you were unaware of the changes. Please note that Adobe Captivate Prime has been re-branded to Adobe Learning Manager and hence the name of the forum is now "Adobe Learning Manager".

Apparently no one knows about this, which is not very customer friendly. This question has been moved twice by two moderators. I expect lot of Prime questions to end up in the Captivate forum, more than before. The moderator group is not that large, why was there no message anywhere?

Hi @STEVE242156187bhb ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Adobe Support Community,

Since VC/CR modules are one-time sessions and can't be added to certifications that can recur, as a workaround, you can explore the learning plan options with the trigger of occurs when  "learner completes a training" where you can include the certificate upon completion of the VC/CR course or vice versa.
