Disable progress bar

Is it possible to disable the tick on the progress bar of the fludic player?

Scenario - I have a Captivate course I want the user to watch fully, but they are able to jump ahead using the fludic players built in progress bar tick mark. I'm unable to figure out how to disable this through any methods I've found in Captivate or HTML/Javascript changes. Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team.

In Prime, the Captivate course play bar is absorbed into the Captivate Prime player and we do not have control over the users skipping the content using the play bar.

However, we can disable the play bar in the Captivate Project and this will disable the progress bar in Prime.

We can disable the same in Captivate by disabling the playback control in Captivate Skin Editor.

Thank you! That seemed to do it! I have one other question, I haven't been able to get the progress bar to track the status of a training in Prime. I've tried numerous different things in Captivate, but they haven't adjusted the status as the training progresses. It's 0, then goes to 100% once finished, nothing in between. What am I missing?

Hi,

Glad to hear from you.

I need a scenario to explain the feature.

If a course has 4 modules then one course would be 25% of the entire course.

So when the user completes one module, it will show 25%, 3 modules -75% and when the user will complete all the modules then it would show 100%.

So if the course has only one module then the progress will be either 0% or 1005. There will be nothing in between.

This feature is as designed.

Kindly let me know if any further assistance is required.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the clarification on that...I have only one module, so that is why.
