Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue.

Adobe Media Encoder does not open. I encountered this problem yesterday and solved the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the software. However, it could survive just a day. It is quite a time consuming to reinstall the software each time. Deleting the caches did not work for me as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We're sorry about the poor experience. Let us know the version of Media Encoder that you are using & the system specs. Also, have you installed any third-party plugins/effects?

Same is happening for me!.... 😠 . I do have a lot of third party audio plugins installed, but I don't understand why that should crash before encoder even opens!  Ngl, this is ridiculous..

Can you provide some more information? 

What operating system are you using? 

What version of Adobe Media Encoder? 

When Media Encoder crashes, do you see a crash report screen? If you do, make sure you check the option to let Adobe contact you and let me know (via private message) your email address.
