Error: Could not obtain upload ticket

I had to do a clean install of my OS on my iMac pro a few days ago and ever since I am no longer able to upload directly to vimeo from the Media Encoder. A feature I used multiple times a day without issues before.

The only error that shows on the Error Log is: Vimeo - Could not obtain upload ticket

I first contacted the people over at vimeo who told me to sign out and sign back in, he also told me that he "re-established your connection to Media Encoder on our side" whatever that meant.

The issue remained and according to them, it's on Adobe's side now, since there's nothing more they or I can do.

Any help will be appreciated.

I am happy to announce that the issue has been resolved with AME (Beta) 23.6.0.60. Indeed, the Vimeo APIs have changed. Thanks for your understanding.

June 30 2023 getting the same error. We have used this Publish to Vimeo export settings for thousands of videos without issue till yesterday and today.

Now each computer we try to export-publish from give us an error in both Media Encoder and Premiere Pro

Media Encoder error (Vimeo - Could not obtain upload ticket)

Premiere Pro error (Publish Error   Could not obtain upload ticket)

I have tried the most current version of Premiere 23.5, and version 23.4 (same with Media Encoder versions)

We have restarted, updated, and cleared cache files. Still get the error everytime we try to use Vimeo Publish in our export.

 

Adobe-wan, you're my only hope.

It's beyond frustrating that Vimeo publish no longer works as is becoming evident by many forum posters that past month.

I contact Vimeo support and there response was to contact Adobe.   LOL.

Hi.  Yes, today's beta release does upload to Vimeo.
