I've never used Media Encoder on this computer, infact I just installed it a few weeks ago. To my knowledge I don't have any plugins installed (as I don't really use Adobe apps that often anyways). I already tried a reinstall with no avail. Please help thanks

OS: macOS 11.2.3

When I open the library, it sends me to the user library. How do I get to the system library?

Launch AME with Shift key and temporarily disable. Disable the conflicting plugins in the plugin manager.

Hi there,

This does not sound ideal.

You can check the list of the plug-ins installed here: /library/application support/adobe/common/plug-ins/7.0/Media Core

Please test the issue after disabling the plugins installed. You can disable them by moving the Media Core folder to other location.

Let us know the outcome.

Shivangi

When I tried going to that location I get stuck here. There's no "plug-ins" folder.

I had the same problem I deleted the third party plugins which was located /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore here. now it is working.

Try to copy the line and paste it on go to the folder comment in finder window.

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

I hope that works for you too.

Oh so it wasn't in the user's Library. I now deleted it, and it seems to be working now! Thanks
