Hi Abdel,

Sorry to hear that. I understand AME crashes everytime you try to encode proxies.

  • Could you share more system info as asked by the expert above?
  • Do you get any error when the application crashes?

Let us know. We're here to help.

Regards,

Hello there,

I had an issue like yours and I found out that a third party plugin is causing the problem.

You may disable them by deleting the third party plugins folder.

Don't forget to back-up your plugins folder.

Here are the plugin locations;

For Mac :  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

For Windows : C:/Program Files/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

I hope this helps.

Can you please share your system info? Like OS version, CPU, RAM, GPU vRAM?  Also sharing the codec your source footage is and the setting you are transcoding it to helps us helping you. Thanks.
