Media Encoder does not start

It was working last Sunday and then as of last night Media Encoder does not work.  Noticed it after Photoshop would not render video.  Premiere Pro Queue does not work.  Tried just starting Media Encoder on it's own, still doesn't work.

Uninstalled program and reloaded it...no luck.  Used adobe tool cleaner...re instsalled...still doesn't work.  Keep sending crash report...no work around...any one else have this problem?  I need to get a video file working out of photoshop.

We're sorry for the trouble. Which version of AME are you using? Are you just using it through dynamic link?

Does it launch fine when you launch the application directly?

Hello, I have been instructed by a tech support specialist to roll back to the 15.4 version, and it seems to be working fine again.

 

Originally I made the recent update, which caused the issue.

What I am trying to do is upscale video resolutions with After Effects, and then export into Media Encoder Render queue.

Media Encoder was not picking up the exports from AE after the recent update.

 

I am currently on a Macbook Catalina.

No.  My computer is an older computer, it was working at one point, but they don't have an older version that I can go back to to make it work. On some of the programs I could go back far enough to find a version that works but not on media encoder.

YES!  I am also having similar problems.  Just a couple days ago it stopped working, sending error messages.  I uninstalled it and reinstalled it (most current version) and it is still not working.  It refuses to open.  Here is the message when I tried a few minutes ago.

hey...yes///i have this problem 2....for  more then 2 monthe now..i  dont know what to do. adobe support fix it few weeks ago..and now [cursing removed by moderator and will get you banned if you continue]
