Question

Media Encoder takes so long rendering, is it a failure?

Hi everyone, yesterday night I finished my 4 minutes Adobe Premiere's project and it is still being rendered in Media Encoder (18 hours, almost a day!). I just have a medium-quality laptop, not an awesome CPU actually, the video includes many 2K clips for slow motion moments, combined with some 1080p ones, video and audio transitions and music. Can imagine all this is why it could be taking so long to finish rendering, but the program does not show me how much time is left, and I do not want to stop it or restart the process because if it is just about waiting, I would have wasted all these 18 hours!

Hope you could help me somehow, thank you in advance.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).

Thanks for your advices Peru Bob, it fixed up after trying to render again.
Now it shows me how much time is left at the right side and seems to go
faster. You can delete this post!

I'm guessing a process simply got hung up, it wasn't actually taking that long.
