Hello

I'm trying to export a premier cc sequence via adobe media encoder and somehow it tells me on ME that the rushes are offline.

I tried to clean the media cache both from premier and ME but it didn't help.

Waiting for your reply

Correct answer

I found the solution from another thread. I unticked "Import sequences natively" in the AME general preferences and the problem was solved.

Mine was easy to fix, but difficult to identify... I just needed to install after effects... Solved!

My media encoder was working just fine until a week ago - (no updates to either encoder or premiere) When I work in and export from Premiere - all files are online.  When I send it to Media encoder - some of the files are offline - They were all exporting and encoding correclty up until a week ago.

Premieer is CC22.6.2 (Build 2) the offline files are on a removable hard dive - the online files are on the computer hard drive - I have cleared caches, renamed files and folders, selected and deselected seq native import, checked the full disk access - this happend once before a year ago and I had to move all my files to my computer hard drive - what is frustrating is this is a significant amount of data to put on my computer desk top (Thus why it was on seperate drive) and this was working JUST fine up until about a week ago.

Still not solved for me despite suggested fixes, updates, clearing of cache, renaming, unchecking...

What a waste of time.

Test your updates before subjecting us to the problems.

When The latest update comes out (v15) everything got messed up. The program is creating a whole new file system. So all my templates are still using the old file system and nothting is linking up. I tried moving files over to the Premier Pro "15" file but then it wouldn't let me locate the old After effects files. I have no idea why it wouldn't accept the location because I manually located it, but when I clicked on theh after effects file nothign happened.... the program froze and nothing happend. Version 15 update screwed up everything. I tried un cheking the "import sequences natively" to and that did nothing. I am reverting back to 14 and hopefully that fixes the issue.

of course i can't open the files i was working on now in v14 because the were saved as v15....💩💩💩

This is what I think of Adobe right now. i would use other words but its not appropriate.

In this issue, we just have to relink all the files,
1. close the Project,
2. Change source folder name
3.reopne the Project
4. Link all the file again.
.....Probable solved

Hi Tamira,

Please check for the version of Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.

FAQ: How to find which version of Premiere Pro you are running

Similarly, check for Adobe Media Encoder.

Manually clean the media cache:

FAQ: How to clean media cache files

Please reply if that helps.

Thanks,

I am having the exact same problem. I followed all procedures regarding deleting cache files. Something that has worked before, but not now. I am running the most recent versions of all software. When I export straight from Premiere Pro, no problem. However, when I queue the sequence in Adobe Media Encoder, selected mp4 files appear offline.  This is very frustrating.

Thanks so much, solved my problem after uninstalling/reinstalling ME did not, replying to let folks know this answer from 9 years ago is still relevant.
