Media encoder is currently failing to export any files and I don't know what to do. Below is the message I'm receiving:

I had exported a video and was watching it looking for mistakes. When I found one I went in and amended the AE file and tried to export again, this is when it began to fail. If the file you're trying to create or replace is open anywhere, shut it down first then try exporting. Hoping that might help someone in the future.

I fixed this on my part once I realised I had changed the original file location, so make sure you try re-adding them to the list, that may save christmas.

Hi all,
I may have a potential fix for this. I uninstalled & reinstalled media encoder, restarted the computer, purged the cache of course, then attempted to export again. This time, I noticed that the frame rate was stuck at 59.94 fps instead of the 23.976 as intended. So, I don't know if the massive screen size paired with the fast frame rate was crashing it.

However, if Media Encoder just ain't working, fall back on the native After Effects renderer. I'm not having any problems there. (Hope this helps!)

No, I still have 513 GB free on my main drive and another solid-state drive on top of that reserved for just storing cache files. I am able to render directly out of After Effects, just nothing from Encoder.
