Hi - I need to know if the Adobe Media Encoder supports WebM files, and if it can convert a WebM file (of at least 250mb) to a standard video file, such as mp4 or Quicktime.
This topic is active for 7 years and still no solution - plugin is not working or working for older Adobe versions --> but I have latest version and I'm unsatisfied that I can't edit materials which I get from stream solutions where WebM is default file type and no other possibility.
How long it will be on "roadmap"? This answer was 8 months ago so it looks that this roadmap is for years but moment... AI is more interesting for Adobe so it means that base is not working well but look we have an AI.
I downloaded the files from https://www.fnordware.com/WebM/ and followed the instructions for imstallation, but I cannot spot a WebM option in Ae/Pr/En ...
Why would you assume that software that costs $650 PER YEAR, supports the most common file types? Of course it doesn't. No webm support. No AV1 Support. I have no idea where my money is going. If you're going to charge me $650 per year, you better justify that cost!
This looks awesome! Have you guys had good experiences with it? I tried a free webm plugin but it crashed all the time and never worked. I want to edit webms so I can create custom steam deck boot videos. Is this plugin worth the price? I have no problem paying if it's going to work.
