Downloaded update of Adobe scan to 6S on 05MAR18. Everything works, except the scan is not poss to send as attachment on e-mail.

Found the solution. I needed to first select 'share' from the pdf options, then instead of selecting 'email', I needed to select 'share' again, and that gave me the gmail option.

Hi Axelk,
Could you please confirm application version you are using on the device? To check the version, you may refer to this link:
Troubleshooting — Adobe Scan Help
Also, try rebooting the device if you haven't already and check if that helps.
What happens when you try to send a scanned document via email? Is there any error message?
Thanks,
Shivam

Same problem, no error, email just never gets sent. Tried may permutations. Only way I was able to share was to send a link to another phone. When I tried to send the pdf with messaging, just got a text message.

Hi Shivam,
I am having a similar problem.
App: Adobe Scan V 18.03.27
Dev: iPhone 7 with all updates
When I select the share option on a scanned pdf an email page opens, but it's not my default gmail. Maybe it is an apple email app (for which I don't have an account?). I can enter an address on the to line but the 'send' option does not activate (stays grayed out) and thus I am unable to send the email.
Thanks, Ed

Actually the e-mails started showing up several hours later. Not sure where they were being queued up. The txt with the share link came right away.

Adobe rep- looks below like you have some clear bugs to sort out. I am having the exact issues described here though nothing is pushing the email through. I went through the troubleshooting basics- Nothing.

Hi, I am having the same exact issue. Yesterday it took a few hours for me to receive the emails but since then it has not been working. The adobe app even give me the green confirmation that the PDF has been sent.

As we have tried to reproduce the issue on our end but it is working fine,
Would you mind sharing a few details to understand the issue better?
1. Is it happening with a particular PDF or with all PDFs?
2. Application version?
3. OS name and version?
Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Harsh

Yes of course it is, though the Adobe and other forums are full of users with the exact same issue I am facing. Have you used your app on the devices we are using?

It’s just.. not sending. Not receiving the PDF as an email when I go to send it and it appears to have “sent” just fine. Emails fail to send to gmail, outlook or anywhere.
1. Is it happening with a particular PDF or with all PDFs?
All PDFs. Still happening.
2. Application version?
iPhone app, yep.
3. OS name and version?
iPhone 11, version 22.04.12. Checked and app does not appear as “needs update” or “update available”.

Same issue. The PDF attachment will not attach to emails. I've logged out and back in. I deleted the app and reinstalled. I did an online chat with Shubham at Adobe and was told that it's a free app and he's Adobe Pro (I have a monthly subscription) and can't help me. He suggested this group. I'm hoping someone has the answer. I need to scan a file tomorrow for an appointment 2 hrs away from my house and it has to be done.

What the "correct answer" below is trying to convey (because it is difficult to decipher in text-only format) is:
Once you scan, edit then SAVE PDF you have the option to hit "SHARE" next to the icon of the document scanned (the very top option from the menu on the right of the icon). From there, you can hit "SHARE A COPY" the very last option in that little menu that says "share link, email, unshare, etc". From there you can choose the email option, type in your email and subject of choice then it SHOULD in theory send the scan over via email.
Why Adobe Scan even gives us the option to "email" when it doesn't actually email? We never get to know. Hope this helps the frustration among the community here 🙂

Sorry for the delayed response.
Could you confirm the iOS version of the iPhone you are using? Also, if possible, kindly share a video/screen recording that shows the issue clearly. This issue is under test and this information is required to reproduce the issue.
Thanks for your patience.

Harsh

Don't worry about it, babe. We the community figured it out (read entire post). What IOS are YOU using? Because these instances are rarely considered when Adobes products cause us these headaches.
