Adobe Scan "Share a Copy" now has automated text and adobe scan app link - how to turn this off

I have used adobe scan to scan and send PDFs without the links for years.

I click share, then "share a copy" to avoid sharing a link, as usually this just attaches the pdf to the bottom of the email without automated text or a link. 

Now it is coming up with this message in the email body, and in the email subject: 

"Created and shared using Adobe Scan. Get the app: https://adobescan.app.link/getapp" daa-im="true" daa-ll="https://adobescan.app.link/getapp" - 1" daa-lh="Conversation Page | 14010729 - 14010729 | Original Post | Deep Link"

This is BEYOND ANNOYING. 

How can I turn this off please?

We pushed the update to fix where the file was not getting attached when using the "Share a Copy" feature. 

The option to remove the automated text is still in the pipeline for an upcoming release.

THANK YOU for asking this question!! . It's a LONG sentence to delete every time I send a PDF, and it's really annoying. So much so that I will delete the app if they don't make it go away soon.

I used it today to share a copy and the subject field was still filled in with the annoying message as well as in the body of the message. I pay for the adobe suite. This is rediculous I have to delete it every time.

Hi,

 

Does this fix also apply to the text file which will be saved together with the PDF if using the “Share a copy” feature?

 

Because still after updating the iOS app, if I save the PDF to my “Files” app, a text file is exported too that contains the same text as if shared via email, etc. These files simply mess up the file system.

1/ The app version of Acrobat Reader Mobile you are using ( go to Profile-> About Acrobat);

2. The OS [iOS/Android] version you are using;

it seems, you dont know what your program is doing ... its really annoying! here my workflow on iphone ios 16.6.1

1. scann witht app

2. i save it

3. i share it > save copy

4. printscreen shows the unnessary txt file, which is saved in my dropbox and i have to delete it everytime - and it is absolut useless and i cant understand why you guys are doing such things!

SS this obviously isn't a high priority to you at adobe. You said this would be addressed on the next update. The next update was today and still the same issue. When will this issue with the subject and body of an email having text be resolved. It's getting ridiculous

I'm facing the same ANNOYING issue! I've shared files to my personal Cloud, for instance, and the text file says that has been added without my permission. This is soooooo FRUSTRATING!  More than FRUSTRATING is the fact the first answer from Adobe help center it was Aug 16th, and today it's Sep 10th and this PARASITE still remains. (almost 1 month spent! Really Adobe!!?? It's insane!)

Here's why this issue is important to me.  I use Adobe Scan as a business tool.  My recipients are my clients, many in the corporate world.  A sales message like "get the app" is geared to a personal user.  It might be cool among a certain segment of the population whose lives revolve around social media, but that's not my demographic, nor is it the demo that can realistically afford a Creative Cloud subscription.  Not only will it have NO effect on my recipients, it's a bad look and unprofessional - this is the kind of message that appears on free software that also serves ads.  As a paid Creative Cloud subscriber, I should at minimum be able to opt out of this, if not have it disappear entirely.   You don't need stunts like this in an attempt to make more money off my client list, you've already got my subscription fee.

Thank you, yes, this is a dealbreaker for me when I am licensing the software.  There is no need for you to market your product off our activity.  These should never have been allowed to happen.

Please fix the auto message re using Adobe Scan and the addition of the text file ASAP.  If this is not fixed, I will look for another program.  Is a time consuming annoyance to constantly delete these.  Thank you.
