I am using Scan on Android and need to change the default email app as I recently changed employers. Not my login email. How do I do this?

Hi @Eng Yian5C3E

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue, description to change the default email application. Here are the steps you can follow.

  1.  Go to the android settings.
  2.  Open the application which was set as default.
  3. Under defaults > tap Set as default.
  4.  Tap "Clear defaults"

Now next time when you will use the send as email option in Adobe Scan, it will ask for the email apps to select from.

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh

Hi there,

To set it default for iPhone here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Go to Settings and scroll down until you find the email app.

2. Tap the app, then tap Default Mail App.

3. Select an email app to set it as the default. A checkmark appears to confirm it's the default.
