On my Android Pixel 4a I keep getting Notifications from Adobe Scan when I am NOT using Adobe Scan and have NO pending scans. The Notifications always say Don't forget your scan - nothing else and no explanation. I have nothing pending, I am not even using Scan at those times. How can I stop this message?

Hi @James2249836677t9 @Dave the drum kicker
Would you mind sharing a few more details to understand the issue better?
1. Have you checked the Scan application, is there a scan pending?
2. If there isn't any scan pending then close the application completely and clear cache from the app settings.
3. Application version?
4. OS version?
Make sure that the app is up to date.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Harsh

1. Have you checked the Scan application, is there a scan pending?
No scan pending
2. If there isn't any scan pending then close the application completely and clear cache from the app settings.
Cleared cache yesterday, then did shut down and restart. Got the Don't Forget Your Scan notification today (3/28/2022) -- see picture attached
3. Application version?
Version 22.03.07-regular
4. OS version?
ANDROID version 12.
Make sure that the app is up to date. Yup.

1. No scan pending. Occasionally since about the beginning of the year the app will ask me if I want to save my previous unsaved scan when I *KNOW* I did, but that is not the main problem, nor does it solve the problem. There is no unfinished scan as far as I can see.
2. Done. No joy. Then I upgraded my Note 20+ to a brand new S22 Ultra, but the problem persisted.
3. Android on the above models, V12.
4. Yes, it is up to date.

Sounds like Fu Sing23796560y5ri has the best solution (disable notifications) since notifications from this app aren't really useful. Thanks Fu!
Thanks anyway,
Dave

I'm also facing the same issue and have to disable notifications from the app entirely. I am using Android 12 on Samsung S21+. Thanks.

Understand but I don't have any unsaved scans. Would be nice to know if I had any and how to find them.

Hi Harsh,
Thanks you for looking into this bug.
1. I have been using this app for several years, about twice a week, and have never seen this alert until a month or so ago. The alert shows up randomly during the day, i.e. not while using the app.
2. If I tap on the alert, it brings me to the app where I can see all the recent scans. I made sure all have been saved. It has never brought me to an in-progress scan.
3. If I swipe away the notification it goes away and returns anywhere between 5-48 hours.
Thanks,
Dave
