Unable to log in Adobe Scan

New Here ,
Aug 30, 2023 Aug 30, 2023

Haven't used it for four months, saying that my account no longer have access to cloud storage. Using an iPhone 14 with latest app version installed.

I don't have any subscription indeed with my personal account, I only use it to take photoes and convert them into PDF files. How do I continue to use this feature? Do I need a paid subscription for this?

Per this link, Adobe scan is still a free to use service. https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/adobescan/android/en/managingsubscriptions.html

Hi @Gehrman Sparrow,

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!

I checked your account in the backend, and the account region seems to be the issue here with you not being able to access cloud storage.

Let me check this with the team and get back to you with a possible solution.

I have a similar problem.  Normally when I save a Scan I can find it under "Scans" in Acrobat.  Now the "Scans" in Acrobat tells me I need to Sign In, but I am logged in and clicking the Sign In button does nothing.

Hi @NewMorning,

The reason for the first report seems different from yours, where the first case is a region blockage of external storage services.

Would you mind sharing screenshots or recordings of what you refer to for better understanding and assistance.

@NewMorning Are you trying to access the scans on a website or a tablet?

I suggest logging out of your Acrobat account once, re-login, and let me know if it works for you.

I can login to Adobe Scan, the problem was Acrobat 2020 on MacOS not syncing with Creative Cloud to find the scans which were uploaded.  A problem which only arose about two weeks ago after working fine for two years.  Which leads me to think the problem probably originated within Adobe, either in an Acrobat update, or a Creative Cloud update.

After two different one hour sessions, during which Adobe support implemented a scorched earth strategy on my computer, literally deleting every trace of every Adobe product on my computer (Photoshop, Acrobat, Lightroom, etc. etc.), Acrobat can once again sync with Creative Cloud.

Now I just have to reinstall every other Adobe app and recreate all the preferences, defaults, etc.

Adobe Support = blunt object trauma

The "fix" from support worked for one day.  New scans no longer appear under "Scans" in Acrobat, but they can be found in Document Cloud.

Hi @NewMorning,

Would you mind updating the application to the latest version and let us know if it works for you now?

Also, when you create a PDF using Adobe Scan, do you see any error messages or if the scan is stuck at uploading? This question is because Adobe Scan uses Adobe Cloud Services to perform the tasks; a successful upload means that the file has nowhere else to go but to appear in the Adobe Scan folder at https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents/.

It is the current version 2020.005.30524

There is no error message from the Adobe Scan app.

Today, the scans show up in the Scan tab, Tuesday they did not.

Hi @Gehrman Sparrow  You might try changing the region in your Account Settings.

However, I cannot guarantee premium services to work on the same. I am saying this basis my assumption as I am yet to hear back from the dedicated team on the topic.
