What Changed in Adobe Scan App?

The new updated version of the Adobe Scan app for iPhone comment. I have been efficiently using this app to scan, create a PDF and email 6-20 page documents daily (sometimes 2x a day) for almost 5 years or more. It was quicker than using a scanner to create PDFs. Now there's a button the says "Save as PDF" on the right that I keep pushing by accident!! It's grinding my efficiency to a halt! When I realize I clicked it I have to hit cancel. If I'm not fast enough I have to go through add a page!! I had this down so I capsule do it in my sleep, with one hand tied behind my back! Is the "Save as PDF" button new or get moved to my right thumb position? For multiple page documents this is a pain! Thoughts on a removal or move it to where it was?
Thank you!

Hi @RIck N,
Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!
When you mention "Save as PDF," where do you refer to the button? Is it on the capture screen?
A screen recording of the workflow would be great to understand.
This helps us understand better and share it with the team for further review.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello, I'm not sure I know how to video the process on my iPhone. But here's a screen shot of the screen in question. The first step in the process is take picture of the document. This page pops up that allows you to adjust and crop as needed. The "Save PDF" button wasn't there before. As I said I don't remember where it was before. Maybe the "Keep Scanning" button? By force of habit (years of using the tool daily!) I'm hitting the Save PDF button which goes into saving it and then to the scan history page. I do multiple page scans all the time. Cancelling the Save if I can catch it or open the PDF and modify it and add more pages is possible. But time consuming and disrupts the work flow. I'm guessing the buttons are reversed now?! Anyone else notice this?

Hi @RIck N,
Thank you for writing in!
Looks like you have disabled the automatic borders for the scan.
Can you check by clicking on home-> Profile-> Preferences-> disable "Let me adjust border after every scan" and then check?
This also looks like an issue with the screen size and resolution, as I could not reproduce the same screen on my device with the latest version of Adobe Scan.
You can learn more about recording your screen on your device: Record the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
This would greatly help me understand the situation and assist you better.

Sorry the delay! You have helped solve my problem. In preferences, Adjust Border Setting. By turning it on or off adds or removed the "Save as PDF" button. One way it asks after every scan. The other way I can do multiple pages in a row and save the entire document as a PDF. I had no idea the difference in setting. I can still post a video. But that is the fix. You mentioned something about screen resolution and size. I'm not sure I understand that. Thank you for your tips and help!
