Character styles don't work - where to click in the UI to get them to work

Hi XDers.

Just had a support call with Adobe about the character styles in XD not applying when clicked.

Now I thought I was pretty savvy when it comes to UI, but it appears that you have to click on the 'colour swatch' or 'Ag' text portion of the character style and NOT the whole character style box.

If you click on the whole character style box it does nothing. I think this is a bit of a UI nightmare. Why can't I click on the whole box to apply the style? Means I have to go all the way over to the colour or Ag part. Double clicking allows you to change the name so that wouldn't be the reason.

Anyway - hope this helps someone else who may have the same issue.

    OMG I feel so stupid! I had the exact same problem, on the verge of tears/ having a mental breakdown / questioning myself as a designer :')

    Hi James -

    Thanks for sharing your feedback. We have fixed this issue in the upcoming XD release so that you could apply colors or character styles by clicking anywhere in the tile.

    Thanks for the update - great to know! When is this update scheduled to be released I just updated to 11.0.22.10.

    Unfortunately, we don't share release dates, but as you probably know, we release every month! You can expect this fix in an upcoming monthly release.
