Is it possible to have an image card component with hover state in a repeat grid?

Hello, 
I ran into this issue (See the issue video below or this link: https://xd.adobe.com/view/feeeafea-fcdf-47b2-6427-a61245799ec1-88df/) that I want to have a slight image zoom hover state on the recipe card and the recipe card is also on a repeat grid. The hover state seems to sync with the component. Is there any way I can have the zoom hover state for different images in a repeat grid?

And when I tried to override the images, all the card images change to the one I just change. I tried many ways and searched online. Not exactly sure what should I do. I appreciate your help.
