Problem embedding prototypes in Edge

When using Microsoft Edge, and embedding a prototype, I keep getting the following error:

 

In the console, I'm seeing the following error:

DOMException: Failed to read the 'sessionStorage' property from 'Window': Access is denied for this document.

The issue is resolved when I adjust the browser's security settings from "Balanced" to "Basic," but the "Balanced" settings are the default for Edge:

 

Is there a way to resolve this issue without having the user update their browser settings?

    I should have mentioned that I did see that page, and those troubleshooting steps aren't resolving the issue.
