Shared XD docs frustration

When I share XD files (Save to cloud documents) and then enter an email address in the share section to share that with someone, that person gets an invitation. When that person accepts that I can see that persons name in my shared section inside XD and we are two people sharing the same file. But when I close that document in XD and re-open it the invited collaborator name is gone from the section where it said two names (me as owner) and I'm forced to add that person again, and again..etc. In addition to that, whenever I save by ctr+S, file-save as or just file save nothing changes at the collaborator side. That person doesn't receive any changes. Also, when I go to Save as the application adds Copy of infront of my filename. Why? It's not a copy, its the same original file that I'm trying to share!

Jisses, this thing is annoying. I thought I was supposed to add people by invite and then everything any of us does to that file will be saved to that shared document?  It doesn't work.

If I got you right, the feature to simultaneously work on a shared file has not been introduced yet in Adobe XD. It was demonstrated at MAX in 2017 and is in the feature backlog

Collaboration on same document (real-time OR check-in / check-out model) – Adobe XD Feedback : Featu...

But why do I get the recipients changes then? I do receive a prompt within XD asking me to accept the changes made by the collaborator that I invited. But as mentioned the collaboration ends when the document is closed, then I need to repeat the invitation as described earlier. It's messy. And why do I have to re-save via file-save as in order to continuous the CC saving? It's already saved to files in CC! And why does XD add "Copy of" infront of the same file when I re-save it? I have already saved the file to the cloud service, and I have already preformed the invitation routine AND that has been accepted by the collaborator.

If the sharing concept doesn't support LIVE collaboration then what is the criteria for me or the invited collaborator receiving changes to the shared file? Does it happen only for the owner of the collaboration? Does it only happen each time I re-open the document? Do I have to close and re-open repeatedly in order to receive the changes made by the collaborator? I don't get it. And why doesn't XD keep the collaboration when the file is closed? The invited person is gone from the list of collaborators and only me (owner) is left. This is extremely frustrating.

To put it short: What are you trying to achieve here?! I don't get it.

But how about actually answering the questions?
