Unable to enter text in text boxes and properties window in XD.

I'm still having issues with Adobe Xd losing the ability to enter text into text boxes or the properties window, and I still regularly have to go out of the app, enter text into another program in order to continue using Xd properly. Even then in some instances I have to eventually close down the app and all my windows. This probem has been going on for the best part of a year or so.

I use XD every day and at least once this problem happens to me. It's annoying to keep using ALT + TAB to workaround this problem.

 

I use windows 10, happens in random projets and random moments

Hello Harshika! 

I always keep my XD updated and it happens in most recent versions too. 

 

See, it's very hard to record this, because when this problem happens, alt tab solves it. If I change window to open a record screen program, the issue will be solved. I don't want to record my screen for an entire day just to record this issue. 😅

  • Is it happening with every file or with a specific file?
  • Have you noticed any specific action triggering this behavior?
  • Is it possible for you to create a short video capturing the behavior and share with us here?
