XD automaticly inserts line breaks in text frames

XD keeps inserting line breaks in text frame which makes it teribble to work with text.

Is there a way to disable this?

Hi there, 

 

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the text tool. I am assuming that you are area text here which is why the width of the text box is limited and automatically inserts a line break there. 

 

Please choose point text from the properties panel and see if that changes this behavior. I have also attached the screenshot for reference.

    Hi.

    You were right.

    The linebreaks gets inserted when a textbox is converted from Text area to point text.

     

    Problem is solved but I feel like the automatic line breaks are getting in the way.

    I vote for the funtion to be removed 🙂
